PC Quests restart after quitting

Hi,

Still kind of new to the game, but is it normal that my quests "restart to !" when I quit a solo game and rejoin? I can only play +- 30 min at a while, which makes "clear tier 5" mission impossible to complete within 1 sitting. 

Is there a console command to stop this behaviour?

I'm sorry to say that is intended currently and no way to change it as the quest system is very crude right now in the game. Hopefully in the future that will be improved as it is very annoying at times, especially if the game crashes mid quest.

 
Sadly that mechanic is working as intended.  My only suggestion is to try to speed run the quest by not attempting to loot anything and just blazing past everything to finish off the objectives quickly.  You can go back afterward and do all the looting and gathering you may want to do when you get on next.
