[Question] Is it possible/practical to Edit Distant TERRAIN on an existing map?

I have used a Server manager mod to get rid of some mountains, and do some terraforming....

...however the distant terrain/imposter is obviously still showing the mountains as being there, which looks kinda funky.

Is there any way i can use some sort of editor/tool to update it?

Im hosting a dedicated server FWIW.

I'm also trying to figure this out. After manually placing some prefabs into the map on my dedi server and doing a little landscaping I would like to rebuild the distant terrain and POI imposters so my carefully crafted city can be seen from a distance, instead of just springing into view from 20 feet away.

So far I've had no luck.
