PC Question about settings

So I run a server for friends. My friends have never played before, got 5 of em to come try game.

So I want to change blood moon frequency to 14 days, my question is, we on day 18, do I need to wait til day 21 to change frequency so it stays in multiple of 7's?

 
Unless it's changed, once a bloodmoon is over, the game calculates the day for the next one immediately. So you changing between that time will not affect your next blood moon. If you change it now, it wont go into effect until next blood moon is over. If you wait till after that, then you'll have to wait another 7 days for it to go into effect.
