A few modlets for A17.1. Making most craftingrelated activities a bit quicker :)

Quicker crafting and smelting. Doubles the smelting speed for all forge items, and increases the craftingspeed bonus from intellect:

More effective harvesting. Increased harvest amount and blockdamage bonus from Salvage Operations, The Huntsman, Miner69r and Motherlode perks. Plus increases staminareduction bouns from Sexual Trex perk:

Reduce the time it takes to scrap all the things by half:

Very nice, can i use a adapted version of your quicker scrapping in my Vanilla+ Mod ?

To fit to my collection i made Brass and Lead even faster but reduced the other bonis

(wanted a bonus to scrap the stuff from cars (so that you can scrap the items on the fly) but for all other stuff i want only a small bonus. Well except brass and lead, because scrap them means only break them for better transport in my opinion)

Sure, use as you want :) And agree, sould smelt whenever possible to get the most resources from the materials. It's mostly when having to wait like 15 minutes for something to scrap while out looting, to get room in inventory, that made me make this in the first case.

 
Just asking, how does your mod Quicker crafting and smelting work when they're still having problems with the timers? This taken from the still having issue list "Crafting speed bonus and mod slots do not properly apply to workstations after being closed".

 
I added a melt time multiplier with a value of 0.5 to the materials that can be melted, so they melt twice as fast as normal also when not having the forge craftingwindow open. The bonus added to craftingspeed will be affected same way as vanilla unforunately. But you dont have to stay in the craftingstations for nearly as long as vanilla if you need something quick :) Plus all crafting in inventory is not affected by that bug.

 
The mod worked completely fine, then I installed SDX and it suddenly doesn't work as it should anymore. Things craft instantly and scrapping is standard time. How can I fix it? Tried downloading the mod again but it doesn't change.

What SDX mods did you install? I'd check to see if there is a problem with mods conflicting.

Maybe try adding a Z to the beginning of the mods folder name to have it load last.

The smelting speed mod isn't working for me. Really weird because it works fine if I manually add the lines to the actual items.xml file.

Maybe mod conflict? But that doesn't really explain why it works if I manually edit xml?

Sorry, been a bit absent last few days. Did you get it working? I'm not to familiar with SDX mods unfortunately, but if its stil an issue I could ask Sphereii if theres any reason why they shouldnt work together.

I figured out what the issue is. Both your scrapping and harvesting mods are named the same, so I just renamed the harvesting mod and it's working now.

Heyo! Just putting out feelers for a troubleshooting issue. This is the only mod I have for scrapping. Is anyone else missing the scrap feature for some items? I was wondering if the newest update had any affect? Not blaming this mod but it would make sense... I will explore other options too!
