PC PS4 Servers?

People are recruiting players in the PS4 forums to join their “server”... Have we been given “the gift of all gifts” and given the option to rent a server? Or are they just referring to a game they host in the old crappy method where they have to be online to play?

I will pray to Jesus, Mary and all the angels that is the former. Please lord let it be!

 
They're just referring to the game they host. There's more than a few of us that play both PC and PS4.

Plus people who don't know anything will just call it whatever. Same way people started calling low FPS "Lag" when it isn't really. It stuck though

 
Man... I just got that feeling you get when you buy a lottery ticket and the first two numbers hit and you miss the next four.
