PC Ps4 private M.P settings issue

Hi everyone. I can't seem to get my private multiplayer setting to stick. I started a new game up and put all my own setting on it. Once started up I noticed that nothing i had set was active, everything was default. Iv tried a system reboot to clear cache and 're done all my setting on continuing game but they still didn't set. Iv tried this a few times now but can't seem to get my setting to work. Any idea on what's causing this problem or how to solve it?

Does this happen for every new game you try to start?

No it was just on my private multiplayer, nothing else. I think iv figured it out now. When I do all the settings the last one is the difficulty and I always check it and press apply. Doing this I think was resetting the other options to their defaults for that difficulty. I tried it again but didn't press apply and the setting stayed. Not had the problem again sincd leaving thay apply button alone.
