Both my friend and i tried hosting a private game and who ever joins the host gets disconnected ever 2mins and if ya get lucky going past 2mins u cant interact with anything like searching or opening crafting stations.

I moved your post to a new thread, in future please create your own thread for your issues - this helps to prevent the confusion of assisting multiple players in the one thread with potentially different issues (even if the difference is slight).
It sounds like your connection is desyncing, please use the list below to give me as much information about you connection. Please also include the details of any clients connections, especially if there is one client in particular who tries to connect and desync.
Host or Client:
Upload Speeds (while playing the game):
Download Speeds (While playing the game):
NAT type:
Wired or Wireless connection:
Internet Service Provider (ISP):
Router connected to console:
How many console connected to same router:
Often on PS4 the issue is caused by NAT connections, if your connections are not Open/NAT type 1 I recommend setting them as such, clearing the cache of the console (shutting down and unplugging for 5 mins before rebooting) and then trying your connection again to see if that helps.
