There's times when the blocks don't stick and sometimes a ceiling builds okay and then they collapse on the floor. One time when this happened when the blocks kept coming apart, I went to build a support beam and when I put the second support beam block on the first, the second one collapsed to the floor and broke into a diamond-shaped piece of scrap wood. Then all this happened again and again and again.
