[PREFAB] My Overlook Hotel Prefab

Hi guys & Gals,

I am almost complete with my prefab of The Overlook Hotel from the shining (original Kubrick) which i will later be adding to my custom world for my crew to have fun with looting and all the sleeper volumes i will be adding LOL (i'll let them do it as i will know where everything is!). there is still a fair bit of work to do, and of course the changes that A19 bring as well. I have made it with no mods, just vanilla items from the game as that was my goal. anyway, i will make a video of it when complete. anyway, i hope you like :)

Looks fabulous and I'd love to loot that building 😄

What are those "prefabs" for? Is there a way to share it with other players' games?

thank you Polopopo. yeah there is some good and bad loot in here, and some hidden goodies too!!!

erm, i'm assuming there is a way. not looked into it yet but i have some of my twitch followers asking too. will have to look into it.

will add the link as soon as i have it finished. almost there now. few small bits and then sleeper volumes and i shall add the link.

 
Quick update guys, just finishing off the loft space and then adding the sleeper volumes and i will make available for download :)

 
Another quick update. completed 15 sleeper volumes today and tested them all. not too many more to go. then some finalising with trees, outside detritus etc, and then the carpark sleeper volume and it will be finished. as soon as it's finished i will get this set for anyone who wants to download it and add it to their Prefab library.

ASIDE: what is the best way for me to share this with you guys in your opinion?

 
Google drive, one drive, dropbox, github, and pastebin are a few that i have seen used..

anything that lets you upload and link to the file

 
Quick update. almost finished with the sleeper volumes. only 6 rooms and the kitchen left to do, then some quick ground work on the trees / debris etc and finally the xml to make the trader quest and i shall post the link down people to download this prefab ;)

 
Hi guys and gals,

another quick update. all sleeper volumes finished and tested. 90% of the trees and debris finished also. so now just to add the quest option and do the xml and it will be ready. not too sure how much i might have to go back and fix on this when i get the alpha 19 update but i assume certain assets will need to be changed, so will keep you all post. anyhoo, i think it's looking pretty nice thus far! PS this is will be a tier 5, as the overlook is just full of that EVIL energy ;)  be warned! MWUHAHAHAHAH

Okay Guys & Gals,

So V1. is now complete. all sleeper volumes, loot and Tier 5 quest complete. I will of course be updating this when A19 drops and will update the folder and version number for those of you that want to update your version. (i will post up here when i do that) anyway, i hope all who download it and added to their world enjoy.

(i have not set the prefab locations so you can do that depnding on where and what preferences you want for your worlds)

Thanks for a great POI - I really enjoyed playing through it.

The hatches on the roof are each missing the top of the ladder. I don't know if that's deliberate but I thought I would mention it.

ah, that may have been something that slipped by. will have to have a look.

 
Okay,

quick update. The A19 update has removed all the sleeper volumes from the POI so i shall be updating it will new volumes ASAP so i can aupdate the download file (or add a second one specifically for A19.
