Pre-loading assets to RAM

Refugee
Khaine has made a modlet called zombie stutter stop linked here

It states that it forces zombies to pre-load into RAM to help reduce stuttering. I'm wondering if it's possible to load other assets in this manner. I host games with my girlfriend which ultimately required me to upgrade my RAM to 32gb as I was constantly hitting the wall at 16gb. This opens up a ton of headroom in single player and roughly 8gb in multiplayer.

I'm also wondering what assets would be best to load in this manner. My main concern is stability versus higher peak fps.

I intend to go look at the mod's code but, frankly, I'm really bad with coding. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

That shouldn't be needed anymore anyway. It was a workaround for earlier A19 builds where zombies weren't loaded into RAM. I believe they are now.

But blocks, items and sounds should all be loaded.

Well, that road was a short dead end. Thanks for answering and for your work in the game! Much appreciated

I mean, feel free to try the mod if you like. It should still work on A20 :)   But from what i've been told it SHOULDN'T be needed
