Power Outage Lost World

I power outage happened while I was running DF.  When the power went back on I started DF and now my world is missing.  Is there a way to get it back?

 
There is a small chance: Find the savegame (location is listed in a sticky in the "General Support" section), replace original files with modification dates on or after the crash with the *.bak versions if available and try again.
