Possible to have 2 outputs?

Is there a way to have two outputs on a recipe? I'm thinking along the lines of mixing two cans of something and getting the finished product AND a spare can back, is that possible and if so, how?

No, they said No.

It's damn hard to code for them. they think it's going to be a problem.

For mods, this is not available either.

(except for some tricks that few people are satisfied).

There is a way if you absolutly need it but its kinda of thinking outside the box and a bit wonky

Create a loot box that has set items ( look up an old mod (valmod) that has such an item. then make a recipie for that

example craft "craftbox1" place craft box1 on ground open it take items box is destroyed on close.

A bit wonky way but if you really need it, its a way to do it

Unfortunately loot lists are still capped very low, so you'd only be able to get away with doing that a few times.

(Sup Dec!)

Hey guppy long time no chat. ( forgot my forum password for about a year) but finally the rest password worked so I'm back

but yes cant do this so much but if its really needed it is a work around for that speical one or 2 items

Thanks. Thats a crying shame. I would like to get back my bottles when I use water to craft things sometimes...
Maybe for some things you could get the bottles back at the time you eat. I think some mods are already out there for this. For example when you boil an egg or meat. Just pretend for some reason you want to carry the boiled egg and meat around in the jar of water you boiled it in. When you eat the egg or meat you also drink the water and then get your empty jar back. There you go, food, hydration and your jar back.

Okay, that is so simple its almost painful. That makes a great deal of sense for at least the food items. I think I'll implement that in my personal mod.
