PC Police car loot early game

Power attack the Police car twice with wrench,  Then hit with the pick axe.  Alarm will sound but no zombie spawn.  Hit once more and loot.  You're welcome

 
Is it? 

I've never had a police car not spawn zombies while using a pickaxe.  Even Jawoodle gets them every time that ive seen

 
It's like 80-90% spawn when breaking it, from my experience. If your method works a couple times in a row, let us know :)

One exception I have found for this so far is if you are using timed charges to set off alarm, then it never spawns zombies. I had logged a bug for it before and they said it was intentional

Am I doing it right? 🤔They still spawn for me. Power attack 2x with wrench, then normal attack with pickaxe until it broke

interesting       I've done 8 police cars so far and its never spawned them.  hmmm,  I wonder if its a certain hit points damage before the pick axe.    I usually only have to hit the pickaxe twice to trigger the alarm after the wrench power attacks

Car #11 and had a spawn...   Guess my luck ran out :(      Should have played Vegas while i had the hot hand

 
If you are desperate to get in a police care, get the alarm going, run away once they spawn in, get far enough away so they despawn, get back an loot. Imo not worth the time though. I rather do a quick T2/T3 infestation, the infestation cache is way better than the police car loot.

In the end, police car loot isn't all that big of a deal and killing the spawned zombies is also not a big deal unless you're level 1 or something like that.
