Please get on the same page for releases between Steam and Console (for the dedicated servers)

Opened up Steam and had a forced version update, mind you my Beta settings are off. I ask a PS5 player if they have an update and they do not. So now I have to roll back Stam to 2.1 Stable to play on the server, since I can't update the server because that will block the console players. Now I will spend the evening explaining to my fellow Steam players how to roll back the version so that they can play.

Maybe it is a minor gripe and inconvenience but TFP should consider things like this when promoting cross play on dedicated servers and pushing patches.

The update literally dropped just a few minutes ago. Patch notes were posted before you started this thread. Consoles should be getting the update any moment now.

So far the only failing part of the update deployment on all platforms has been MS Store PC taking 3-4 weeks to deploy a Stable update.

Maybe learn some patience to wait a little bit longer. This isn't something unique to TFP with console support. A lot of games have console updates 2-3 weeks behind the PC variant.

And we want lag on some of the updates so a hot patch might fix a found issue on pc also affecting console so we get a single update instead of two back to back
