Ping over 10k

Me and my friend are playing the new version on PS5 and we both cannot even play with one another because of this ping issue we both have very good Internet and do not lag ever but on this game we bought for the 2nd time..... has extreme lag issues I'm hoping it's a simple issue with it being beta because I'd quickly ask for a refund but alas PlayStations refund policy is scummy and I do very much enjoy the game so let's figure it out!!

If it were the PC I would say it is because you didn't exclude it from security software. However with the PS5 that doesn't apply.   High ping is a network related issue though, and just because you both have good internet, does not mean that the internet between you is ok. Maybe PSN was having a problem, or something else was going on.
