My friend has a problem since the 2.5 update.
When I start a private game with the setting EAC "off" she can join and play with no problem.
She also can join any servers that are not EAC protected.
But when she tries to join any EAC protected game (either my private game or a server) her Laptop freezes during EAC authentification.
It is not just a game crash, the whole system freezes. No mouse, no keyboard and she has to hold the power button to turn the ■■■■ed thing off.
As you can see in the log text, everything seems to run fine until "2025-12-25T12:50:27 49.658 INF Login: authstate_eac"

I found a tip on Google to run the EAC exe-file as administrator and click on "Repair", but that didn't work. The thing just pops up for half a second and then vanishes again, without me having the possibilty to choose install or repair.
Anyone any ideas?

- We already did the "Verify game files" thing on steam and a uninstall&reinstall (twice).
- We minimized the number of background processes in Windows.
