The game has a parkour perk. Why not add basic elements such as pull-ups to a height of 2 blocks and when jumping, as is done in DOOM? As the perk improves, the character would do it faster.
I don't think the Parkour system in 7 Days To Die is meant to be like how the Parkour system is used in Doom Eternal, Dying Light, Mirrors Edge etc. The perk is used to help reduce stamina, increase safe fall distances so you're less likely to hurt yourself from jumping or falling off from high places such as cliffs, roofs etc. Also the perk is beneficial to help eliminate getting a sprained ankle or breaking your leg upon impact. And lastly the perk can also help increase, how far and how high you can jump in the game as well.
