Option for importing prefabs is missing ...

I'm on the current v1.1, and today I've tried to load a self-created prefab into one of my games (random world), following the steps outlined here - but I couldn't since the prefab properties menu that's supposed to open when pressing 'K' in-game doesn't show up. All the previous steps worked fine, just this one didn't. There are no console errors or messages that could be related to this problem.

Things I've (double-)checked:
- Debug Mode is on
- Creative Mode is on
- EAC is off
- The 5 prefab files are available in the required location
- No mods are being used

Did I miss something, or is this feature unavailable in the current version of the game?

TIA for any insights on this.

Yeah this feature was removed for a number of reasons including a number of potential issues.

You could potentially replace a poi with the one you want in the prefabs.xml file, then doing a poi reset command while inside the poi you removed.

That's unfortunate, hopefully it'll be back at some point.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll try the manual way you described.

Just to follow up on this ... manually adding POI's via the said prefabs.xml works, you just have to reset the chunk (by either entering the respective console command, or deleting the corresponding chunk file) afterwards.

It's a bit cumbersome of course, but at least that option is still available.

Thanks for the followup! I would suggest however to not delete the chunks directly, as the region manager relies on some of that data. Either the chunk reset or region reset command is much safer.
