PC old navezgane vs new (MY SINGLE, SELFISH, NEEDY COMPLAINT)

@AidenwithAnAxe, here is the A19 version of Sal's Safehouse...

Sals-Safehouse-A20.jpg

And here is the 1.3 version...

Sals-Safehouse-1X.jpg

Is it the A19 version that you desire, or are you after something much older?

That is it, the one I liked was A16. If you entered went u left rear stairs, there was a small storage room,

break the shelves, and enough room to work. It was more spartan.

I've recovered it. It's 42x38 so should fit nicely into some 42x42 spot. TFP's current police station is for countrytown. IIRC, there's a police station in a downtown government building. What do you think about making it part of the commercial district of cities and towns?

EDIT: Confirmed, there are 4 TFP POIs that are in the "police" theme tag. They're either in countrytown or downtown.

Compared to the new decorated buildings it, is more of an abandoned derelict, like you would find in burnt or waste. It's just not damaged.

So for it to fit in cities it would probably best fit in suburbs, Basically like a vacated police station, I guess like precinct 13 but in

the suburbs.

If the block textures match and you upload the POI files, I would add it to each map i make in nitrogen.

I can restrict it to Burnt and Wasteland biomes. I still have to put it into a settlement district or out in the wilderness. It doesn't fit for the wilderness. Residential and CountryResidential don't match its design. Industrial doesn't match its design. The rural district seems like a stretch on its design.

This is why I'm suggesting the commercial district. There are no other police stations in that district and the architecture fits okay. It looks like a city building.

EDIT: The POI would be part of my modlet. You could pull the 6 files from there and get the localization from my localization.txt file.

Medium junkyard recovered and converted... I'll bet this is the one folks like as a base. I rigged the doors so that you can unlock them all so they're all usable once the POI is cleared.

Slightly older safehouse recovered. I think this is the one @AidenwithAnAxe wanted. It's now tier 1 (instead of tier 0) and can be found in the CountryResidential district, so you're likely to find it in town in the Forest, Burnt Forest, and Desert biomes.

That's exactly the one I liked using as a base.  The two story part of the building has enough room to build a horde base/living base if you add in a second floor at the level of the balcony (and fill in the grease pits.)

Thanks!

Condemned Police Precinct complete. @4sheetzngeegles ... IIRC you had plans. I don't have a release date in mind for this update of the module. Perhaps 2.0. If you had an immediate need I would make the POI available to you for download. Hmm, I used parts, so I'd have to make those available to you too. Or I could make a part-less version.

Yes...yes... and thrice times yes.

For me The part-less one please then in 2.0 I will get the complete set in the mod, and build a customized

map layout, that is based on your mod release, sort of a showcase that could frame it, as a Thank You. Not complaining,

but for me it sucked a bit when it was changed into a visiting center and became decorated. That's the thought. Okay for

years, I have tried to Identify what was the difference, and you just help me resolve it. The older version, had less of everything,

You had to find everything  by happenstance exploring, and build more rudimentary, few clustered pois, the majority of the map

was wilderness. It was Spartan vs Ornate. It makes a difference in feel, and how you approach a gameplay, at least for me.

Thank You again

Okay, I should get to making you a part-less version today and I'll send you a direct message with a link to download it.

After that, I will be in my modlet with parts; you can either keep your own copy up-to-date or pull/edit it from my modlet.

It was actually the Xbox one version. which was like alpha 15? idk but it wasn't always called Sal's Safehouse.

Oh. I'm not sure I can rescue from that far back. I'd have to mine @stallionsden's knowledge. While it may not have been called Sal's Safehouse then, the filenames likely didn't change. (abandoned_house_06)

@stallionsden recovered a version from A16 that has a stairway to the left as you enter from the front. I suspect this is the one you want. It's very rough and leaves lots of room for interpretation. Here are some pictures of what got recovered, prior to any work on my part:

Exterior Front:

Inside the front doors: (There are block issues but don't panic.)

Kitchen as seen from the front door:

An inner room (first floor), perhaps a family room that leads to a bathroom:

Upstairs. The shelf-like blocks are clearly supposed to be a wall.
