Offline Mode

I moved my A1.4 game folder from steam to another drive so I could see if I could play offline. But the offline mode was greyed out.

Is there any way to play offline? This is if v1.4 is no longer available like when the A1.3 was no longer playable.

If I'm not mistaken, you can play offline, you just need to be connected once and open the game so that Steam can confirm that it is a legal game and not a pirated copy.
 
1 I have steam console app on my pc.
2 I start it up, then goto steam in the upper left, set it to offline mode.
3 Play game.
4 If I am playing an older archived version, I have to go to the game folder
and click the 7DaysToDie.exe file, directly.

What steam console app are you talking about. I have never heard of it.
