PC Null reference exception

I just started playing the game last week. and am playing it through steam.Have been playing with a friend and things are going well BUT I started my own game so I could play when he's not around.Downloaded the regular version of the game (not A19)Whenever i place a campfire it gives me a "null reference exception"The game then becomes unplayableI have verified game files integrityI have uninstalled and reinstalledNothing seems to helpIs there a workaround?

Make a new post in "General support" AND read the sticky thread there on how to post your logfiles.

Also you might mention what version you were playing together with your friend.
