Nuka Factory

Well, figured it was time to show off my first prefab, the Nuka Cola Factory! Based off the building from Fallout 3.

Anyone who knows those games knows sometimes the way the building looks outside versus what the interior looks like once you enter it doesn't always make total sense. So I had to make a few changes, and I omitted I think one room due to space constraints. But I still think it came out good. It's much closer to the original on the inside as I built all the interior areas and then basically just encased it and prettied it up afterwards.

It will have a mod that is required for it that includes a few blocks I have added to make it look better. And it also includes new Nuka beverages! Nuka Cola, Nuka Cherry, Nuka Quartz, and Nuka Quantum have all been added, each with their own buffs.

I'm still tweaking a few things and making sure it's as complete as possible.

Nuka Factory Prefab:

There will be 2 versions, Nuka Factory that requires the Nuka Colas mod as it will add in custom blocks and some other goodies. And also a vanilla version, Nuka Factory Vanilla, if you'd rather not have to use the mod along side the prefab.

The Nuka Factory is now updated for A18, but I did not bother updating the Vanilla version.

And Nuka-Cola Protectrons for security and some Mister Handy units as assistants for employees as well as to keep the warehouse and factory clean from misplaced empty bottles and bottle caps.

Somebody should add them as NPCs... :p *Looks at Darkstardragon, not trying to hint at anything at all*

 
not me lol, robots arent my thing unless they already come with animations and besides fallout type models are quite hard to come by, people tend not to put bethesda-like stuff out there. xyth/sphere have a robots modlet already that would go nicely with this, would have to add spawners to the poi though

Alright, updated the OP with links! Remember, Nuka Factory requires the Nuka Colas mod, while Nuka Factory Vanilla does not.

 
That is a awesome build you got there! I myself tried to create and expand on vault 81 which i plan to share but not until Anarchy has atleast been through one wipe running the map Dregora.

This would make a great asset to the tiny little fallout universe im creating. If the map turns out to be a success on Anarchy and people will want to see more I will make another vault and so on :) So just a tiny heads up that another fallout fan has joined the ranks!

Nice! I have contemplated tackling a vault, but I haven't had the time to get started. I think I've decided to make the Super Duper Mart next, now that I've got my weapon mod updated finally.

I might try doing 101 or another one from FO3 at some point though.

It is definitely quite the task! Feel free to use my vault door/entrance design which will save you some time when you start making the vault ;) Let me know if you do and I can send the door over ( Can't send the entire vault yet due to various reasons )

I have opened that topic by the way :D It's the Dregora's Universe The late 2100's

 
Do you use any custom blocks? I added some for the Factory, and figure I'll add a few more for the Mart and even more if and when I do a Vault. If you wanted to use any of them, just let me know. :)

And appreciate the offer on the door! Probably take you up on that when I get to it.

I did searched for custom blocks but being quite unfamillair to the game I was explained that a lot of custom blocks etc break over updates. So for the sake of compability I decided to get the most out of vanilla blocks ( Would've loved some custom signs though! )

I've went ahead and did a real fast and real messy copy of the vault part thingy :D Feel free to use it and make sure to create a topic when you start making the vault! Im super curious to what you will create and how ( Fun fact, I have fallout 4 in my steam libary but i havent played the fallout series for a single second haha, I just reaalllllyy love following those storylines on youtube :) )

I added the Fallout style terminals. And a telephone, since the game somehow doesn't have any of those. And a semi truck and trailer.

Maybe one or two more. Definitely wanted quite a few more, but I had to limit myself or I'd still be working on it. Lol.

 
I ended up using simple tv screens for the consoles lol, I noticed cash registers are quite the look-alikes though :)

As for a telephone... Yeh indeed, they should totally introduce that and enable voice over long distance using that :p
