PC Not getting snow biome on random generated maps. Anyone else?

I've tried 5 times now with 5 different seeds, but no snow is showing up.

Is this a known bug?

I have tried 3 maps and have yet to see it.

Just Desert, forest, and destroyed city with patches of burnt forest

Plus, the map is way too small.

I've tried the 8k maps and the 16k maps, and no snow.

The 16k maps take like 30 minutes to generate!

All depends on the seed. I've seen snow in 8, 12, and 16k variations.

Here is our current 8k map.

On our last one it was less desert, and the snow was all the way across the top.

Yeah, it depends on the seed. I tested several seeds and some had little snow and some had lots. I'm at work right now trying to think of the one seed I tested that had lots of snow. If it comes to mind I will let ya know.
