Could some kind person please tell me how to slow down the zombies like a Romero walking type speed.Would like to keep animals/zombie animals at default speed and not change those.Thank You for your time.

Go into entityclasses.xml and look for walkspeed and the other settings around them, per zombie.

Edit: Oh I thought you wanted a modlet, but you just wanted a point in right direction. This is what happens when I read too fast. xD But I guess this can help you understand also.
