PC No Zombies? What happened?

I had something similar happen to me. Was playing a B208 map on B221 version. When me and a friend started a quest, no zombies spawned in the POI for the quest. After looking through other buildings across the entire map, no POI's had any zombies at all. Simply disappeared. Could only find wandering zombies in the fields.
Two solutions that I found:
One, the most obvious, create a new world. Typically recommended for every new update that comes out.
The other was to delete the map information from the server, which forced it to reload everything fresh (will also get rid of your bases though)
Would not really recommend this though, as the issue very well could occur again, or other bugs may show up.

during experimental you need to remake your game each time a new update comes out. Even minor changes can make old worlds buggy.
