PC Next Generation Console 2020

So 2020 has pretty much been a @%$# year in terms of The dreaded CV19!!!

BUT we are getting the next gen consoles in November from PlayStation and XBox!!!

in the post given by the pimps they stated that they would be looking at next gen consoles to re release 7DTD!

so now that we have had a date for both next gen consoles will the pimps have started making a move on re releasing the game???

Would be amazing to get a little light on this subject!!

The important detail you missed when you read the post by the pimps was that next gen consoles would be looked at when the PC game was finished: "....but this would likely happen after the PC version has gone gold".

Small company, no capacity for a two front war, proven method for ports, gotten burned by not following the proven method, all of those are probable reasons why they are doing it this way. Means practically that news on that front should be at least a year away. Sorry about that, but software development is very time-consuming work and takes years for everything but trivial stuff.

The last sentence specifically says there will be news when news is available: "The Fun Pimps will keep you updated as more information becomes available or if things change.". No change -> no  news -> nothing really to say but hot air.

I just wanted to ask fun pimps since the new consoles are around the corner. It would be nice to have PC updates ported to the new generation, I can see the problems with having to release different updates for the older consoles and their compute power all together. I was also curious if fun pimps would ever decide to opt into xbox game pass. It would be nice to know. Here's to wishful thinking

The PC version will probably be ported to the new generation, but only once the PC version is finished.
