New bloodmoon settings

I changed the bloodmoon settings from 8 zeds to 32 zeds and block damage from 100% to 200% the last 2 bloodmoons, and it was crazy and very exciting. Well, I have decided to go 64 zeds next bloodmoon (Day 196 bloodmoon #28).

Does anyone know what this will turn out to be, other than maybe spending 6000 7.62 bullets?

With a few settings changed on my PC I think It will handle it. I will probably have to go down from 1440P to 1080P and High settings instead of ultra setting. I will more than likely have to tweak the CPU settings In Intel Extreme Tuning as well.

PC is
Intel i7 14700k
Geforce RTX Geforce 4070 ti
96GB DDR5

I am going to record it in FRAPs too if anyone wants to see the craziness I am in store for I may post it.

You don't have to touch the graphics settings; they don't have much of an impact. It's more a question of whether the processor can handle it, since the game runs in a single thread.

That's good to know. My CPU can handle the 32 zeds with a tiny bit lag here and there. I may just need to adjust settings in Intel Extreme Tuning. I will also make a backup of my save folder in case the low FPS starts to make it unplayable.

Does anyone know the amount of CPU is used for spotlights? I have close to about 20.

The 64 max zeds is a bit of an illusionary setting. Regardless of that setting, you get max 30. After reaching the 30 the game will increase your game stage by the ratio of the "max-zeds" : 30.

(sample)
GS 3000 => ratio 64 / 30 => new GS 6400.
=> Spawning 30 zeds of GS 6400.

All that to point out, if you already had the max at 32, you prolly won't see more zeds, just harder ones.

I did hear about that before, I was just hoping it were possible anyway. Still, I do like the Idea of higher tier zeds though. The first 32 zed setting I did had way more high tier zeds than the next one, which was a little strange. I will at least look forward to more blue and red dropbags.

Thank you guys for the help.

I have been playing long time with 150-200% zombie bloodmoon damage to blocks. It makes them so much more dangerous and fun.
So many breaches and panic moments.

In this new v2.5 b23 we got zombie Chuck throwing rocks at the cabin which we had been squatting. Destroyed wall with 1 rock. Little later 1 rock hit our near campfire and food storage. Both got destroyed (sadly magic loot backpack was found after horde containing all items).

I decided to play 1.4 this play through. I heard a lot of bad things about 2.0 so I did not go with the new update. Although as it is my base is a 2 layer concrete foundation and steel towers so I figure my base would be OK if a few of these guys showed up. I almost wish I could test it with those guys as the demo guys have yet to explode, I usually take them down with a headshot when they are being zapped in my electric fences.

If you want to see my base in action check out my video in the post "7 Days To Die Bloodmoon #26 Video" its pretty crazy. I had no time to stop for a split second the entire horde night.

Well I did the 64 zeds bloodmoon #28 and not much changed, except that the high tier zeds did not start attacking until about halfway in, which I prefer anyway as I got way more red drop bags than before when they only attacked at the start. I also not knowingly used a frag rocket on a demolisher, with 200% bloodmoon block damage setting. Good thing I had 2 block thick foundation.
