PC Navezgane Map (A17) - Where to find oil shale

Hello,

I am searching for oil shale nodes but I am unable to find the above ground nodes that I was able to find in the old A16 RWG maps (the "dirt mounts").

Did the graphic of this nod change?

Are they only underground now?

Our clan does not have an auger yet to start mass underground mining operations for resources and the Gas Stations can barely support our current usage of vehicles.

Anyone know?

Surface deposits are gone in A17 sadly. You must dig a proper underground mine for that kind of thing. Which sucks imo.

Sounds like you are playing in a group, as I mainly do....well everything you used to get from the surface, including gas from cars and gunpowder ingredients from boulders, has been nerfed to the point you cannot really support a co-op group unless you mine properly. I loathe this change.
