You know - forest fires, earthquakes, tornados, floods, volcanoes, landslides, etc

To keep us from getting too settled down.

While it would be could to see a tornado come tearing through the land on horde night... with this being a voxel game I gota go with na thanks

Been suggested quite a few times and my response is always the same.

Anything that destroys your work and is unpreventable by you is a bad idea and will turn players off to the game. It reduces it down to luck praying an earthquake or a tornado doesn't happen and destroy your hard work right before a horde.

maybe some cool storms could be a nice addict to the game (except on horde nights). Every biome could have a strong storm type like Sandstorm on desert that drains your stamina and drastically reduces your line of sight if you are not wearing some glasses, Snowstorm on snow biome that drastically reduces the temperature from the ambient, "Firestorm" that increases the biome temperature.

If they wanted hours-days of working on your base to be lost, they would make the game MD5 crash like the XBOX does, or put in the Behemoth.

Such things do not add to the game, and only make people regret buying it. If you don't believe me, look in the console section at how many XBOX players post about losing bases.

When you have a masive fortress.. Surounded by turrets.and you are shoting from a 5th floor with your 600 sniper rifle 28615178374 bullets its nice for a while but them is boring as hell.

But if you add some kind of treath/event. A plage of insects eats all your food/plants.. Strage wind brings Radiated fog for a week in your area and you are forced to spend the worst horde outside..

There a lot of ways of put your fortress and you in danger without the ragequit.

Sorry for the inglish
