I love nearly everything about this game and its definitely one of my favorite survival games. But after playing games like Minecraft I realize that 7 days to die needs some new music. I find myself turning off the games music completely because its the same three tracks that you mainly hear.
When your near your bedroll - Cool peaceful, at home music.
When your out exploring - A cool basic, concerning beat.
Horde Night - A fast pace demanding beat that is good but can be repetitive.
And while there are more sounds, I find that these are the three I mainly hear the most and that is a problem. Using Minecraft as example again, it is clear that there are way more tracks in the game. All that are very nostalgic and match the games vibe completely. 7 days to die needs something like that. For the "OGs" that have played almost every alpha, you can see the difference in some of the noises. The old alpha 15 lobby menu music is superior to the one now in my opinion. The morning 4:00 music was way better back then as well. The games great, but music means a lot to many people. I think that a bigger variety of tracks is needed. Tracks that clearly match the vibe of the game.
