PC Multiplayer server question

Quick question, I've been away from the game about 15 months. Has the dedicated server issue been added?

Where I can host a multiplayer game, log off and not kick my friends? And my friends can log on to the current game without me to continue our progress? Thanks

No, the host must still be online for others to join the game.

As said no. Not going to say it will never happen because I don't have the say so but it most likely will not be on console. Several threads that explain why.
