Mouse click triggering crouch

I have been playing 7 Days for a long time, but just today, 9/10/25, I suddenly noticed that if I spam any mouse button, left or right click, it triggers the toggle crouch function. For example, if I am crouching and start quickly rotating a block to place it at a desired angle, suddenly I will stand up, and vice versa. I have tested it, it happens with either button, and I have never had this happen before, because I spam my mouse buttons all the time. Not a game breaking bug, but certainly annoying when trying to stay stealthy. Google AI suggested changing the button assigned to toggle crouch, but this did not make a difference.

Never mind. It apparently is an issue with Windows that suddenly occurred affecting mice.

Have you managed to fix it in Windows? I'm having the exact same issue and looking for a way to fix it.
