PC Mod to Expand Trader Quest offerings???

Is there a mod that doubles or triples the amount of quest locations traders offer and guarantees a wider range of "tier" options regardless of your level/achievements?

As you progress ... The quest tiers rise until virtually everything is level 5.

I'm playing with the Magoli Compo-Pack and Nitrogen Map Generator (excellent btw) and would like to explore the various tier 1, 2, 3, and 4 locations.

 
I don't know anything about modding and only just started learning to read the xml configs and apolgise if you already know this.

In the quests.xml it seems the building is choose from random ("RandomPOIGoto") from the pool of prefabs that has "QuestTags" element (i found this in a prefab list on github map rendering tool).

They also have a DifficultyTier element (1-6).

You could make a list from the xml and prefab data by listing all the places that have "QuestTags" then searching through the xml and that would give you the building type the tier and the position.

But i'm guessing thats not what you want unless your scoping the maps to play on a server.

Someone else will know better but you might be able double up the quest_list but not sure if that would work without testing it.

Also if the tiers are incremented on Exp (I'm only guessing this) then you could try changing the values so you stay on the tier longer.

 
@graphite ... Thanks for the tips. Most of your observations and suggestions are above my pay-grade.

I just assumed ... with all the people complaining about the eventual Tier V grind ... that someone would have experimented with the tweaks you suggested and bundled it for general consumption.

Maybe someone can experiment with your suggestions and then gift-wrap it for troglodytes like me ;)

 
I'd also prefer if the traders always offers quests with random tiers. So you need to level up the trader if you want to get tier5 quests but that doesn't mean later you only get t5, but you can still get t1 to t4. Completely random.

I'd also appreciate if you can limit the trader quests. Maybe only 1 quest per week or something like that. Or even better only one t5 quest per week, two t4 quests per week, three t3 quests per week. So you can choose to do lower tier mission but can not endless grind t5 missions.
