I cannot see the pipe flame close to the circular stairs within „NFD Engine 4“ on „Navezgane“. But I can hear the flame.
I play 7dtd on „Debian Testing“ and „OpenSuse Leap“, installed by steam. Steam was installed through flatpak. I play with GLCore. The bug is in version 2.0 beta.
Any suggestions to work around?

I have this problem too, and has had it for more than a year with my AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT.
I use Linux, and the problem is in native mode with OpenGL, flames work with Vulkan but the game is unplayable with Vulkan drivers.
Using Proton DirectX 11 the flames are visible, and if I use the launcher to switch to OpenGL the flames from pipes become invisible again.
Unfortunately performance in Proton seems to degrade in longer games, so I'd prefer to use native.

I reduced the damage changing settings in the file:
.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/Data/Config/buffs.xml

Changing value to "1":
<passive_effect name="HealthChangeOT" operation="base_subtract" value="10"/>
<passive_effect name="WaterChangeOT" operation="base_subtract" value="2"/>

Unfortunately the flames also slow you down, so I died from this bug anyways because I got caught by a mob of zombies.

Please please fix.
