Mesh editor

I want to create a new "skin" or maybe edit a pre-existing one to create a new one. I just cant find an editor for it. Please, if anyone knows about a tool for this, can you point me in the right direction?

I use Blender3D for edit meshes. But to edit the "skin" you only need to change the 2d-texture. Mesh is form.
