PC Max Spawned Zombies vs. BloodMoon Enemy Count on dedicated server

Hi everyone,

pretty sure this question has already been asked before but i could not find any answer using the search form.

As far as i know the max spawned zombies value on a dedicated server represents the maximum amount of zombies spawned into the world.

Also the bloodmoon enemy count value on a dedicated represents the amount of zombies alive per player during bloodmoon.

Does that mean i have to set max spawned zombies on a 10 slot dedicated server to 640 to get 64 zombies per player during bloodmoon?

We had the problem that on our 10 slot server with both values set to 64 only a few zombies showed up to the party for each player  ;)

Just don't crash the server. The server may stop processing them normally. On the server where I play, the admin once threw out 1000 zombies, they didn't even move anywhere until most of them were killed.

during bloodmoon, server (and local), will check 3 value

1-max zombie on server (set in config xml) (default 64)

2-num of zombie per player (in your case 64*10)

3-maxalive value depending with your gamestage (see xml but to have a maxalive to 64+ you must have gs 200+)

(note that maxalive max is set to 256)

then server will take the lower value to send you the bloodmoon

(note2: if you wakeup sleeper just before bloodmoon, you need to sustract the number of z spawned, even if they don't move)

(note3: that's why you will not see normal zombie nowhere in the map during bloodmoon)

but in my opinion, try less zombie in harder difficulty in random poi, it's more challenging than a full full zombie in a bunker ;)
