Max drones reached

Dedi server crashed while a drone (and vehicle) in use. Had to back track to find the vehicle but the drone remains unfound. When I try to deploy a new drone it gives "Max drones reached" due to the other drone still out there - somewhere.? Need ability to display vehicles/drones on map, not just when you're close enough. Side note: dedi, locally hosted, more stable since patch(es), not crashing as often.

In your console or log when you first load into the map, there will be a line that tells you where your drone is located. With a server, that line might be on the server log instead of yours, but I doubt it since that isn't the case for hosting from a player computer.  As long as the coordinates are not NaN, you can go to it and it will join you again (it could be up high in the sky or before ground, you you might need God mode).

If it does say NaN, then it is lost for good.  You can try the console command "jd clear" to remove ownership of that drone so you can place a new one.  Not positive how well that works on a server.  The other option is to have the server delete the two drone files while everyone is holding their drones.  You might still need to use the jd clear command after that.

 
in the log, is the text "drone" in there with coords? asking cuz i did a ctrl-f for drone in the output log and it said "cannot find drone"

It has been a while since I've looked, but I think so.  It will appear in your console within about 10 seconds of being able to see the world unless someone changed in 1.0.  If it isn't showing there, then it might only be on server logs.  I don't do servers, so not sure how that works.

ok, thanks for tryin, i logged out and logged back in, and dont see any of that in the console. I think a togglable show/hide for things that belong to us should be a thing, especially for situations like this. "JD Clear" was a denied command, so there is that too -- couple band-aids for a more permanent need

You'll need to get the server admin to assist if it is denied.  The info is probably on the server log.
