I shat up my previous topic, so i will make a new more sanitized one. So i will ignore these forum blockhead babybrains in this one. You did bad choice removing water containers, cans and jars, because you made players trader dependent. At maximum difficulty settings, like insane, nightmare, permadeath and 25% loot it is nearly impossible to make first survival steps, establish foundation for further gameplay... I think water and food should be consistent supplies, and not work by a chance. You can use dew collectors for distilled water, to make alcohol and use for bandages... or even for glues.. so this way we wont spam glue crafting with infinite water from lakes nor with purified ones, we will still have to use waters collected from dew collectors for crafting. But survival essentials like food and water should be available in the wild. i should be able to purify canned water by putting it on campfire without cooking pot so i will not have to do the survival routine with each time i start 1.find a pot, 2.find many jars of water at least 5,6 for the first day, 3.desparately seek forge ahead to be able to produce water at 25% loot, this is kind of routine and not a challenge. YES ITS ROUTINE, NOT A CHALLENGE, READ AGAIN. OK i cleared 4-5 lvl1 POIS somehow managed and grinded 3-4 bottles of water maximum, thats all, after come bigger POIS, i supplied myself for one day, i found pot somehow, still no chance. I disabled chunk reset and loot respawn to encourage exploration, so no survival chance here. Each time i die i start a new game, thats lots of loading time and kind of russian roulette, i may or may not succeed to establish my survival foundation finding those 3 things. So its very poor choice to remove water containers including cans... In vanilla settings water wouldnt be concern either, you will find plenty in loot, so you loose nothing by bringing back one of the game's essential features. World must be INTERACTIVE not RESTRICTIVE. Amputating essential feature Is the dumbest design choice to make, its utterly stupid like out of this world. If you want some MMORPG you should put also more restrictions in crafting and push away endgame further. Your approach makes no sense at all. BRING BACK CANNED WATERS AND WATER JARS. Your design choice was poor, read and consider. Survival essentials must be consistent other things even at 1% loot are manageable and matter of choice, im not talking about other flaws, just bring back this essential game component and dont think much that will SCREW YOU.
