Make the Burning Forest Great Again

Yes cops puke can start wood on fire, so do not leave your base wood for long. I upgrade straight to cobble for the XP, but never leave supports as wood. Trees can catch fire as well. Explosives and landmines can start fires also.

I looked for score mod, but can only find what appears to be a framework (SCore) for other mods to utilize.  What is the specific mod pack for this?  I'd love to play with it.

I was unable to locate a mod that adds only the fire mechanic.

I was able to find it as part of The Wasteland mod, and War of the Walkers.

@warmer Can you clarify the mod you are using. S-Core has the code supporting it, but I did not see it listed in any of Spherii's mods to enable the feature. Since S-Core is a framework, I cannot imagine it would be automatically enabled just by installing the framework.

Apologies about that. It's the "gupFireMod"

I will never understand why they didn´t bring the plains back instead. Now we have a wasteland light, that is as depressing as the waste land. Meh.

So the new version I'll be releasing soon(tm) will have a different firenado and some special surprises having to do with campfires.  But anyway... Time isn't my friend.

I do have a desert ambiance mod as well. Sandstorms, dust devils, tumbleweed, more cacti, sounds, etc.

I think I ran into a bug when I played that I couldn't put myself out with water once I caught on fire. Was this intentional? First time I died on that playthrough. lol
