Mac A17: Cannot see any of the items in my inventory or tool belt

This issue has been persisting since the start of the beta. It's happening on both multiplayer and singleplayer games. It happens for nearly every item save for .44 magnum bullets, shotgun shells, plant fibre clothing, duke tokens, and can of chili. Durability bar also seems to stay.

Anyone know a work around?

I use a macbook pro 13 inch retina OS X El Capitan (ver 10.11.2)
