We're new to the forum but been playing on the consoles for 3 years+, been trying to find the consoles sections only but only find news about seed worlds and then EVERYTHING else is pc. Is fun pimps just not dealing with consoles no more or not gonna ever update console. We really wanna know because we don't wanna get friends to buy a game with no future. We never want ppl to waste their money or time. Any info is great appreciated and everyone have a great and safe day.

I moved your thread to the console section. If you look above you see a link in red to a blog post you should read. It is telling you what happened and what is planned. The blog post is old but still very much relevant.
TFP is a PC developer and they outsourced the console game to a publisher with console knowledge that went bankrupt in the middle of working on the old console port.
Some months ago TFP contracted a new publisher for console and a new port will happen and be released together or after the PC game. But this will happen on the current consoles, I highly doubt it will also show up on the previous generation of consoles.
The console game you can buy right now has no "future", it is a finished game developed from an older PC version and will stay that way forever, including at least one really annoying bug. But nevertheless it is playable and fun.
