Lock Picks

Locked doors are intended to be barriers to direct you along a specific path. If you can pick the locks, they aren't as obviously intended to be barriers. Besides, with how lockpicking is in this game, who really wants to waste a dozen lockpicks on a door you can break in a few seconds?
 
There's a mod that allows you to use lockpicks on doors. The problems Riamus mentioned are exactly why I never used that mod. It's a good idea -- and makes total sense -- but it just doesn't fit with how POIs are designed.

Now, if doors could be given a pickable flag in the editor then that would alllow the POI designer to say "this door here can be picked, this door here can only be opened via triggers, and this door over here is a barrier and should stay shut."
