As title - (Accidentally) Loading Multiplayer Save from Single-player Session Reset Character

Reproduction Steps
PC is setup with both 7 Days to Die and the 7 Days to Die Dedicated Server.

1. Configure a Dedicated Server as normal. Persistent profiles were on.
2. Launch Dedicated Server
3. Launch 7D2D (from same PC running dedicated server)
4. Click "Join"
5. Join the server
6. Do things (move around, get a level, just so its obvious for later that the character has been replaced)
7. Leave game
8. Shutdown server
9. Click "Continue"
10. Restart 7D2D (may not be strictly necessary)
11. Select the save and load game
Note: You join as a new character
12. Exit
13. Relaunch Dedicated Server
14. Join the server
Note: You join the game as the character made in step 10, not the character after step 5.

This was accidentally done on my end, and extremely frustrating that there was no sanity check message - would anyone reasonably want to join their dedicated server save from a single player session? Especially if it resets their character. This clearly seems like unintended behavior.

Hi Bajingo,

Thank you for taking the time to report this.

I was unable to reproduce the issue as reported above. I tested by creating a local dedi on the same box, joined that game, did some things, and left. Went to SP, and the join there was the same character. At no point did I lose levels or inventory.

If additional steps are missing from the reproduction, please include those for further investigation. Please also include the output logs from both client and server. Without those, we won't be able to move forward with this report.

Thanks,
Dollie
