Little Ideas that should be good for the game.

For 7 Days to Die.

I would like to share some ideas that could make the game feel more dangerous and dynamic. The game currently feels more about numbers than danger itself, and these ideas try to increase tension and gameplay variety.

Zombie Update Idea: Charged Zombie
The Charged Zombie already exists, but I believe its concept could be expanded.

Concept
Fastest zombie in the game (like it already is).
Builds kinetic energy while running.


The longer it runs, the stronger the attack becomes.

Scaling example

Easy difficulty: around 100 meters of running to reach potential one-hit kill.

Insane difficulty: around 15 meters to reach potential one-hit kill.

These are only example values.

Combat Behavior

Can potentially one-shot the player after a long sprint.

Very low damage against structures (player hunter type zombie).

Damage could still grow against structures but remain extremely low.

Audio Design

When it detects a player and starts charging it makes a loud electrical sound like:
“ZZZZOOOM” or something electric.

Special Mechanics
Cannot be spawned by the Screamer (Samara).

Suffers overcharge and explodes when in contact with fire, damaging everything in range, even allies.

Fastest hit rate in the game.

Each hit can cause shock or paralysis.

Water Interaction
When in contact with water it electrolyzes the water and deals very high damage to anything in the water.

Zombie Update Idea: Infernal Zombie
A zombie focused on destruction and environmental pressure.

Concept

Extremely high damage to structures.

Burns the player when hitting.

Leaves fire on the ground while walking or running.

Balance

Slow zombie, even in feral version.

Takes heavy damage when in contact with water.

Loot Idea: Military Tank

A rare and powerful lootable vehicle.

Spawn Conditions

Only lootable.

Pure RNG.

Can appear in military locations with 4 skull difficulty or higher.

No parts are craftable.

Usage

Extremely powerful vehicle.

Drive using WASD.

Aim the cannon with mouse.

Multiplayer Ownership System
Requires two players to operate (driver + cannon).

If two players helped gather the pieces, both become owners.

If only one player gathered the pieces, only that player is the owner.

Example system: If one player found 50% of parts and another found 40%, both could become owners.

Team Rules
If the team is disbanded, the tank loses ownership.

The tank cannot be stolen or destroyed (By the allies only and team, can be repaired)

It despawns when ownership is lost.

It only respawns if the team is recreated.

Server Balance

Only one team on the server can have a tank at a time.

This idea could also extend to other military vehicles such as:

Jeeps
Trucks
Helicopters
Hydra-type aircraft

Experimental Weapon Ideas

Special weapons could spawn in specific locations.

Rules
Only one experimental weapon per location.

If the location resets, a different weapon appears.

The weapon spawns broken and needs repair.

Can be sold.

Example Weapons

Boar Gun

Location example: Bob’s Boars after the Grace boss fight.

Experimental weapon that summons boars.

Small chance to summon a Grace boar.

Uses charge instead of ammo.

Very expensive ammo to craft.

Rail Gun
Example of a powerful experimental weapon.

Sacrilege Gun

I found a location that could fit this idea: a church with an underground area.

Weapon concept:

Uses blood as fuel.

Automatic weapon with high fire rate.

Slows zombies.

Special effect:

If fired at a tree or wall, zombies are attracted to the smell of blood.

Fires blood spears capable of impaling zombies or animals.

Additional Zombie Improvements
Some additional ideas:

Demolisher Zombie:

Randomize bomb placement on the body to make it more unpredictable.

Spider Zombie
Should literally climb walls more aggressively.

Meme Zombie Idea (Very Rare Spawn)
Spawn chance: 0.001%

Sexy Samara (Screamer variant)

Appears with 7 female zombie variants.

Can spawn Infernal and Charged zombies.

Has an additional 0.001% chance to spawn another Samara when screaming.

Screams 5 times when seeing the player.

Runs faster, more aggressive and more resistant.

Final Thoughts

I hope the team can see this feedback.
I would really like confirmation that this message was seen.
These ideas aim to make the game feel more dangerous and bring new challenges to players.
Even if the game becomes harder, I believe the community would enjoy the challenge.
Right now the game feels more about numbers than danger itself.
My notebook is not very powerful and the game is already manageable for me, so increasing danger and gameplay tension could make the experience even better.
