Light propagation distance

Is there anyway to increase the light propagation distance back to where it was, or further? Light only illuminating things once your within 15m (or whatever close distance it is) is pretty immersion breaking.

Refugee did you ever find out?

I completely agree with the immersion breaking. Totally kills my buzz every time I drive up to my base. If my PC is powerful enough to do it then I should be able to do it! Someone please answer this!
