Survivor
@ bft2020 mentioned that his style of play might be considered a "challenge run". I always see how much people are "drowning" in whatever, and how easy this that or the other is, etc.
So, here is my normal play through because I am just trying to survive the apocalypse. Some stuff I manage via game settings, some mods, some self imposed rules because well I like survival part of it....
1. I play dead is dead, not via game, if I get killed in any way shape or form I restart. Depending how fond I am of the RWG map currently playing, I may reuse, if not I create another. Only played nevez a few times early on while learning.
2. Loot no respawn.
3. Mod Z no respawn although maybe I don't need that one anymore.
3. I don't quest.
4. I only use the traders to sell junk and to overcome any ultimate frustrations with RnGeezus. But at some point I will use some mod to remove them.
5. Chunk no restart, forget actual name, can't fire up game right now.
6. 10k map, once I find that first trader, I don't move from that town until is cleared. I.e. I have hit every poi.
7. I use the minimum setting for z block damage because "f" them.
8. Usually build some form of crawler base for BM. Although not sure how viable they are now, haven't had chance to build one.
9. Since A21 have not removed spitter cop, but since there is a growing list of projectile Zs haven't had the time to figure out how to do them all.
10. Headshot only mod, but not sure is usable now. Again no time.
11. Bucket mod during A21 not sure about now.
12. 60min days, used to play 30mins, but that got hamster wheel really quick.
13. Level up from bottom because zombies are not sponges.
14. WalkerSim mod but haven't really made a long run with it to see how it affects my play through
That is of the top of my head. It is normal to me. So, I can't never relate when I read over abundance or ease of find, req, etc so and so forth.
I have never reached level 300, nor do I care, if and when then I will be like wow!
Have yet to clear a 10k map all poi's
I have less than 1k hours, but I have played this way since my my first few deaths when learning the basics.
