So my ideas for jars and most veesles for my mod idea is basic. Jars for example you could have a say a 100 jars and that's great but you still need to work to fill them up
Starting early game you will use cans and jars to gather water from loot sources like sinks, toilets, water boilers, water containers, etc for murky water, murky water is something that's still uncommon but the safest thing to drink. However some times those water sources and especially bodies of water are contaminated. Some biome water Loot sources are always contaminated like the wasteland.
If you boil it in a can, it has a low stack size but doing it in a can could still get you sick and even chances of metal poisoning due to whatever chemicals leeching out but its better then dying
If you boil murky water in a cooking pot it takes awhile longer then normal but with the beaker it will also increase the speed from 5 minutes to 1 minutes (plus any cooking perks)
Contaminated water can be harvested from open water and every now and then from water Loot sources. Contaminated water is easy to get! Very easy but Highly dangerous.
Side effects include! "Infection, metal poisoning, advance Dysentery, and Radation"
Yeah this water is nasty! And there are a few ways to clean it
1: crude water filters using stuff like paper, clay, wood, plant fibers cotton and sand. and then just craft it (aka filtering it) and you get murky water. However that takes time. And they are single use. And you could craft it in a campfire as well but its not as fast.
2: water purification tablets: they are rare but if you use 1 and a contaminated water it turns into murky almost instantly and with the right skills you could do it in bulk. But again they are rare and mostly found in labs or military Loot or even savage country
3: Drip filter: Drip filters are a way to clean contaminated water in lager amounts but its slower. It works like a dew collector but you load it with contaminated water and crude water filters and able to convert it while your out and about.
4: Chemistry station is the best way to clean and distill your contaminated water to clean drinking water. Not murky but clean. But again it takes time. But the time can be lowerd with the distilling kit mod.
