I think it will be good if we have a mod like a Rope mod attached to a spear.

So we can press E to pull the spear back from we it landed.

maybe caused some side effects like 50% decrease spear throwing distance.

This is a big QoL of the spear Right Click for me.

I was going to suggest something like this but, I found your post.

I see 3 options for the Spear tether mod that would make it a better weapon.

Option 1.  Recalling the spear to your hand will cause X bleed stacks to an enemy.

Option 2.  Recalling the spear to your hand will cause XX damage to each enemy between the spear and you.

Option 3.(and this the the dream) Recalling your spear while embedded in an enemy that weighs less than you, will pull the enemy to you.  Recalling your spear while embedded in an enemy that weighs more than you will pull you to the enemy.
