Issue with Stations burning wood won't turn on

I noticed that both the forge and chemistry station wouldn't start even though both had the resources needed to run. I removed all the mods and cleared the game data, player profile, game settings and started a new game and still am seeing the same thing. On the one station not using wood for fuel it works fine. I also noticed the resources on the forge are not reporting in some cases like it will say i need 5 brass and tell me I have 0 on hand when i have many more

As SylenThunder's link will tell you, please post a log.  That being said, what you describe sounds like a problem with a mod.  Someone rather recently posted a similar problem and it was related to a mod that affects forges/workstations.

As you can see from my original post there is no MODs. I started over from scratch there isnt even a MOD folder. Here is the output from the log file.

Something I will note here. There is a very good chance that the built-in APU on your CPU is as good as, or better, than that archaic GPU. Especially since you have enough RAM to dedicate to it in BIOS. If you set the iGPU to 4GB or more, then you will overcome some graphic limitations that are forced onto you by the 750. Not related to your issue at all, but something to take note of.

In your log, your player is spawned in. You immediately enable Dev and Creative modes, and then exit the game one minute after. There are no notable errors in your log. I can see that you are likely playing a modded world though. And if that world was created with the modified workstations in the mods, then it isn't valid for testing.

Try again on a clean Navezgane map.

Wow I would never have guessed it was the map that was causing the issue. Thanks so much for the help. That fixed it. On the other thing you mentioned. Where would I set iGPU to 4GB or more. I wouldnt mind using it if it going to give me better performance like your saying.

Thanks again

iGPU's can't be configured like that unless I'm missing something. It depends on how much overall ram you have(e.g. upgrading from 8gb to 16 gb it will automatically allocate more ram for the iGPU)

The more modern AMD units can be. I don't know about the 3000-series CPU's, but starting with the 5000-series there have been some nice improvements. They have an option in BIOS to configure it. It still pulls form your regular RAM, but it gets treated slightly differently as AMD isolates it using a more efficient process than what was done in the past.

And I mean truly, it isn't going to be performance anywhere near what an old discreet card like a 1060 6GB could get, but it should be at least as good as what he currently has, and will allow for some better display options without loss in performance.

Interesting. Yeah must be new with the 5000 series, my 3200g doesn't allow that in BIOS.

But yeah, that Ryzen Jak has will definitely perform better than the 1060.

As far as the issue with the workstations not turning on, the only time I've heard of that is when a mod affecting them goes wrong, it'll likely stick with removing said mod(s). I think I recall an issue related to it, but it was cured by putting fuel in another slot. I think.
