I made a large post in general discussion, not knowing what this forum section was.   Is this where people send suggestions?

I am new to the forums btw, if that wasn't obvious enough from obliviousness 

 
Yes. Welcome.

It's hard to say if one large post full of many suggestions, or a bunch of smaller posts with individual suggestions, is the best way to go. Either way, you're just hoping to catch a Dev's eye. Sometimes it feels like putting a message in a bottle and other times lightning strikes. :)
